In his role, he will work with partners and steward grants that align with the Program’s focus on expanding opportunity by promoting effective and inclusive community development practices in American cities. Gray joined Kresge after serving as a senior project and program manager with the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA), where he managed NORA’s strategic land acquisition, affordable housing and commercial development financing and grant programs. (Cockwise from top left): Sidra Fatima, Bryan Hogle, Krista Lowes, Will Guzman, Stephanie Davison, Ed Smith and Inés Familiar Miller. “Kevin joining the practice could not happen at a more exciting time as we deepen our commitment to demonstrating what’s possible in cities across the country,” said Chantel Rush, managing director of The Kresge Foundation’s American Cities Program. “His knowledge and experience will add valuable depth to the team’s efforts to support on-the-ground organizations and national nonprofits pushing the envelope on community and economic development in American cities.” Gray’s other work experience includes real estate planning and development including working on affordable housing, mixed-use, adaptive reuse, and brownfields development. Also this week, several other Program staff members started new roles. They include: Stephanie Davison is now Senior Program Officer on the Human Services Program Sidra Fatima is now Program Officer on the American Cities Program Will Guzman is now Social Investment Associate Bryan Hogle is now Senior Program Manager on the Detroit Program Krista Lowes is now the Program Operations Coordinator for the Detroit and American Cities Programs.
