Following the COVID-19 pandemic and national unrest for racial justice, more funders are paying attention to the needs and well-being of the people who work in nonprofit organizations. In a new episode of the Fund the People Podcast, Caroline Altman Smith, deputy director of the Education Program,  discusses funding professional development for grantee partners with a racial equity lens. Smith led in the creation of Kresge’s FUEL (Fostering Urban Equitable Leadership) initiative, a signature program of the Leadership and Infrastructure Funding Team.
