Environment
Communities around the country face environmental and health consequences due to failing water infrastructure. The Clean Water State Revolving Fund — a federal program that finances projects to improve water quality and public health — helps address these challenges. The Environmental Policy Innovation Center (EPIC) has released a report on Financing Green Stormwater and Natural Infrastructure with Clean Water State Revolving Funds. This nationwide analysis shows how states are investing in green stormwater infrastructure to finance nature-based solutions. EPIC is a grantee partner of Kresge’s CREWS (Climate Resilient and Equitable Water Systems) initiative. This report was developed with funding support from The Kresge Foundation and the Robert Woods Johnson Foundation.
