Social Investment Practice
Neesha B. Modi is director of program and social investment operations with The Kresge Foundation’s Program department and social investment practice.
In this role, Neesha works across the organization to refine and strengthen the systems, processes and culture of Kresge’s Program and social investment departments to ensure that our grants and social investments knit together strategic impact with Kresge’s core mission and values.
Neesha joined the foundation in 2015 and has led Detroit grant strategies and portfolios in early childhood, civic capacity, leadership development and community activation. She also leads Kresge’s Leadership and Infrastructure Funding Team, which invests in social sector talent and leadership development nationally.
Before joining Kresge, Neesha worked at Deloitte Consulting in Detroit, where she led talent strategy and culture change work, in addition to helping lead that office’s Deloitte Center for Leadership and Community, which focused on capacity building for local nonprofit executives.
Neesha also held positions with Accenture Consulting and the Civic Consulting Alliance in Chicago. Neesha earned a dual Master of Business Administration and Master of Science degree from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and School of Natural Resources and the Environment. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management from Michigan State University.
