Downtown Detroit Partnership I-375 Peer Review Report

Detroit

I-375 is a roughly mile-long, below-grade freeway connecting I-75 to downtown Detroit. The I-375 Peer Review Report created by the Downtown Detroit Partnership (DDP) addresses plans to replace I-375 with an at-grade boulevard. The report includes sections on design evaluation and collaboration, construction mitigation, and opportunity assessments.

Through a grant from The Kresge Foundation, DDP worked alongside the Michigan Department of Transportation and the City of Detroit over the past year to provide a balanced voice within the community and advocate for a truly reconnective design through the peer review and community feedback process.
