New research from the Civic Mapping Initiative highlights transit accessibility to Michigan’s community colleges. According to the mapping data, only 44% of the 87 Michigan community and technical college campuses have a transit stop within walking distance. An additional 11 campuses are less than five miles from an existing transit line but are not yet connected.
