Tosha Tabron is director of originations at The Kresge Foundation. She focuses on Detroit and other national programs, identifying opportunities to deploy program-related investments in areas such as early childhood education, nonprofit capacity building, equitable community development and arts and culture. She joined the foundation in 2021.

Previously, Tosha worked for the community development finance institution Invest Detroit, where she was senior vice president of neighborhood real estate lending. In that role, Tosha championed financing of minority-owned businesses and led real estate originations to create catalytic redevelopment in Detroit communities. Prior to joining Invest Detroit, Tosha was head of Detroit philanthropy at JPMorgan Chase, where she led the charitable investment portion of the bank’s $150 million commitment to Detroit.

Tosha began her impact investing career with Bank of America (formerly LaSalle Bank Community Development Corporation), addressing affordable housing, small business and workforce development. She has served on the board of directors for Detroit Economic Growth Corporation, Community Development Advocates of Detroit (CDAD), Great Lakes Women’s Business Council and Techtown Detroit.

Tosha earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.
