Amanda Said Canto is the Chief of Staff and Acting Executive Director of Michigan Hispanic Collaborative (MiHC), where she oversees the organization’s strategic direction and manages several program initiatives.
Since its inception in 2018, Amanda has been an integral part of the organization, contributing in various capacities and witnessing its growth firsthand. In her previous roles, she worked on programming, strategic planning, and fund development for MiHC. She is excited to leverage this experience to continue driving MiHC’s success and amplifying its impact. Amanda holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School (2021) and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan (2016).
Amanda is the daughter of immigrants and a Latina whose life has been defined by the power of education. She is committed to championing initiatives that focus on educational empowerment for the Hispanic community in Michigan and creating the next generation of Latino leaders.
