U.S. DOT Transportation and Climate Symposium: National Funders Roundtable

 The Department of Transportation (DOT) held a two-day Transportation and Climate Symposium on July 11-12, 2024, to celebrate climate champions, solutions, and innovation towards transportation decarbonization, transformation, accessible communities, and mobility freedom for all. The event brought together decisionmakers from the private and public sectors including state, regional, local and tribal governments from across the country working across siloes from vision and strategy to implementation.

On Friday, July 12, U.S. Department of Transportation Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Mariia Zimmerman moderated a National Funders Roundtable panel discussion with Kresge President and CEO Rip Rapson, McKnight Foundation Vice President of Programs Neerj Mehta and Climate Imperative Senior Director Mary Ann Hitt.
