Detroit’s QLINE resumed passenger service in September 2021 after being closed since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the COVID-19 service pause, M-1 RAIL compiled what they learned over the first few years of service to evaluate every aspect of operations and make the necessary changes to ensure the QLINE is the best-in-class transit experience.
This report details how the QLINE resumed service with a renewed commitment to riders after enacting a number of service enhancements to make riding the QLINE faster, more reliable and efficient and better connected to the Woodward corridor.
