Federal policies shape the environments that determine whether people and communities can live healthy lives. Since January 2025, a series of executive orders has significantly impacted public health across a range of issues, and the field needs clear, reliable tools to keep pace. With support from Kresge, the Network for Public Health Law has developed a free Executive Order Tracker that maps the public health implications of these orders, including reproductive health, environmental protections, Medicaid, health equity and more. Grounded in a Health in All Policies framework, it summarizes each order and its public health impacts.
