This report documents the first year of Fostering Urban Equitable Leadership (FUEL), a capacity-building program for grantees launched in 2016 by Kresge’s Leadership and Infrastructure Funding Team (LIFT), made up of staff from across the foundation. The pilot program focuses specifically on leadership development through a racial equity lens.
