Scott Kresge joined The Kresge Foundation Board of Trustees in June 2023. He is the eighth family representative to serve on the foundation’s governing body which was created in 1924 by his great-grandfather, Sebastian S. Kresge.
Scott is a hardware/software test and development engineer. He has worked in the medical device industry for nearly four decades and has contributed to two medical device patents. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Duke University.
He is an active member of his New Hampshire community, is married, and is the father of two adult sons. He has previously served as a science mentor to both middle school and high school students and has volunteered with Junior Achievement. Scott and his family have also hosted foreign exchange students from Italy and Japan and a child through the Fresh Air Fund.
