Reuben C. Kapp (he/his) is a program officer at The Kresge Foundation, where he supports the Education Program’s efforts to increase college access and success for marginalized students.

Before joining the foundation in 2023, Reuben served as a research assistant, college success coach, and senior admissions representative at the University of Michigan. He has also worked as a campaign fundraising associate and held public policy fellowships at the U.S. Department of State and on Capitol Hill.

Originally from Saginaw, Michigan, Reuben holds a bachelor’s degree in public policy, a master’s degree in higher education, and a Ph.D. in higher education, all from the University of Michigan. He serves on the board of the University of Michigan Latino Alumni.
