Jordan Duckens is a communications officer at The Kresge Foundation, where she supports the American Cities and Human Services programs at Kresge. She joined the foundation in 2025.
Previously, Jordan served as communications strategist at Kresge Arts in Detroit, where she was involved with celebrating metro Detroit artists through promotion and community partnerships.
She started her career in communications at the California State Legislature and continued this work at the Kalamazoo Community Foundation.
A native of Sacramento, California, she earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Howard University and a master’s in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown.
She serves on the board of the Black Arts & Cultural Center in Kalamazoo.
