Carla S. Forkin

Carla S. Forkin is accounting manager at The Kresge Foundation. She joined the foundation in 1998 and is responsible for managing the accounting computer systems, coordinating the annual budgeting process and preparing monthly financial statements as well as tax, audit and grant schedules.

Previously she worked in accounting in real estate development and property management.

A native of Detroit, Carla earned a bachelor’s degree in corporate finance from Wayne State University in Detroit and a Master of Business Administration degree from Oakland University in Rochester, Mich.

She is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Microsoft Dynamics GP User Group.
