We help urban leaders access information and tools to support them in acting on climate change mitigation and adaptation.

Officials at the local and regional levels pursue climate mitigation and adaptation actions only when they are confident those solutions are necessary and fiscally prudent. We seek to strengthen that evidence base; make it easier for practitioners to access high-quality, actionable tools and technical assistance; and advance climate mitigation and adaptation approaches that embrace equity as an imperative.

Through this focus area, we work to:

• Curate and disseminate promising concepts and practices.
• Support research on topics critical to the implementation of equitable climate change measures, such as:
  • Developing the economic case for investments.
  • Documenting how equity-driven approaches yield superior results.
