Share Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Email A recent Center for Effective Philanthropy Grantee Perception Report finds The Kresge Foundation ranks higher than its peers among nonprofits for its impact on grantee fields, public policy and grantee organizations. The survey, conducted in late 2014, also points to areas that grantees indicate Kresge can improve, including providing clarity and consistency of communications and strengthening grantee relationships. Overall, CEO Rip Rapson notes in a new president’s message, the survey is a helpful tool to help the foundation realize its mission to advance human progress and expand opportunities in America’s cities. With the survey results in hand, over the past several months Kresge staff formed a workgroup to assess strengths and develop actionable recommendations for improvement. Nearly 25 action items advanced with several implementations underway and others to be completed in spring 2016.
