He most recently served as chief financial officer at the Lansing-based Cinnaire Corporation, where he spent 25 years. He brings to Kresge a wealth of experience in financial operations, transaction experience and nonprofit management.

At Kresge, Cox will work with Portfolio Director Joe Evans and analyst William Guzman to manage its active program-related investment portfolio of over 80 transactions and $350 million.

“We’re pleased to welcome someone with such deep experience and expertise to our team,” Evans said. “Chris’s skills will be put to immediate work managing investments and improving systems for a social investment portfolio that’s grown larger and more complex in recent years. We are thrilled to have him.”
