One of the top-100 public universities in the United States, Western Michigan University is committed to being learner centered, discovery driven and globally engaged. It runs the Fostering Success Michigan program, which seeks to address the emotional, logistical and financial obstacles that stand between students from foster care and college degrees or career success. This three-year grant is intended to increase college graduation among young adults in Michigan who have experienced foster care by providing enhanced and coordinated college-going and human services supports.
