The university has a long history of community outreach, education of health care workers, and care delivery to vulnerable populations. This three-year grant enables the university’s Center for Urban Studies to adapt and expand its Lead Housing Database for use in our Advancing Safe and Healthy Housing initiative, which broadens its childhood lead-abatement effort into a comprehensive healthy-housing approach.
