Launched at The University of Texas at Austin in partnership with Texas A&M, the Texas Education Consortium for Male Students of Color consists of 22 institutions located primarily across six urban areas in Texas. The statewide network of urban K-12 and higher education institutions is committed to improving educational outcomes for men of color, to building institutional capacity and improving educational outcomes for boys and young men of color in Texas. This three-year grant supports the consortium work to share and advance research, best practices, and resources with educational leaders and practitioners, policy leaders, researchers, and community leaders.
