Housed at the university’s Keck School of Medicine, the Southern California Environmental Health Sciences Center spearheads research on traffic-related health impacts. Funding from a two-year grant enables the Community Outreach and Engagement Program to build the capacity of member organizations in the Moving Forward Network to identify environmental-health hazards, conduct research and inform the public about the health impacts of freight transport on their communities.
