The foundation raises gifts to support the University of Hawaii’s 10 campuses and its students and programs. This two-year grant, part of the national Credit When It’s Due initiative,enables the university to scale up and systematize its reverse-transfer system, which awards associate degrees to students who transferred from community colleges to four-year institutions without first receiving the two-year credential.
