Serving Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties, the organization is committed to bringing together partners across all sectors to address community concerns and to create sustainable community change. Grant money is being used to develop a comprehensive, multifaceted food system in metropolitan Detroit that increases access to healthy food and nutrition education, and combats hunger and obesity, especially among children.
