2019

This 2-year project grant supports Northeastern University School of Law’s Stable Ground initiative in the City of Boston. Stable Ground leverages arts and culture programming as a means of ensuring that the psychologically traumatic impact of housing instability is reflected in Boston’s municipal housing policy. This initiative supports the Arts & Culture Team’s Local Systems focus area, which invests in initiatives that challenge norms and ways of working within citywide systems, also providing support to more adaptive practitioners. Northeastern is the nation’s only law school to have a dedicated center supporting the integration of arts, culture and community-engaged design into legal policy.
