The Michigan Environmental Council is a coalition of 70 environmental, public health and faith-based organizations promoting state and national public policies to protect Michigan’s water, landscapes and communities, and supporting programs on energy, environmental health and land use. This grant supports technical assistance and will foster a learning partnership between the city of Detroit and the city of San Francisco’s Office of Sustainability to advance environmental sustainability with a goal of zero waste strategies.
