2016

The Michigan College Access Network (MCAN) seeks to increase college readiness, participation and completion rates in Michigan, particularly among low-income, first-generation and minority students. This grant supports the MCAN to further build upon its Kresge-funded work to offer school counselors professional development courses focused on college counseling and postsecondary planning. It also supports sponsorship of the Midwest Reach Higher Convening in August 2016, in partnership with the White House and the U.S. Department of Education.
