Early Childhood Funders Collaborative

Detroit, Michigan
$50,000

Awarded

Awarded:
2019

This grant will support Kresge’s membership in the Early Childhood Funders Collaborative (ECFC), a national coalition of foundations that are committed to supporting the healthy development and learning of children prenatal to eight with a specific focus on low-income children living in conditions of risk, in the context of their families and communities. Since 1992, ECFC has helped to align and mobilize funders with a demonstrated investment priority in early childhood development and learning. ECFC membership will enable the Detroit Team to maximize opportunities for collaboration with a leading network of foundations engaged in early childhood policy and practice and this grant is part of the broader Hope Starts Here suite of investments to engage in national field advancement efforts that will strengthen the early childhood systems building work in Detroit.
