The land bank promotes neighborhood stabilization and economic growth through the acquisition, management and disposition of tax-delinquent properties that have reverted to city ownership. This grant supports the Detroit Land Bank Authority (DLBA) operation of the Rehabbed and Ready program and establish a Backstop Fund for up to 12 rehab projects in the Bagley and Schulze communities of the Live6 district that will cover any gaps for construction costs when a house sells below its full renovated value.
