The organization’s structured holistic approach to providing disadvantaged and low-income people with employment training and placement has resulted in an 88 percent job-retention rate. This program-related investment over 36 months from the Community Relief Fund, which offered program-related investments to high-performance human-service organizations that were providing food, shelter and other emergency services during the economic crisis, enables the nonprofit to deal with gaps in state funding.
