The organization works to promote the restoration and protection of a sustainable coastal Louisiana. Assisted by a two-year grant, the coalition is collaborating with coastal residents and environmental groups to identify and adopt nonstructural flood-risk reduction measures, such as drainage improvement, building elevation and relocation to higher ground, which help to protect communities imperiled by sea-level rise.
