The fund’s co-founders, Dr. Irwin Redlener and singer-songwriter Paul Simon, established the South Bronx Health Center for Children and Families in 1993 to ensure continuity of care for homeless families relocating to South Bronx. Challenge-grant funding assists in building a new clinic that provides medical services to children and adolescents.
