Dedicated to promoting more livable, sustainable communities, the center develops and pioneers strategies to use natural resources more efficiently and equitably. This two-year grant funds the development of a one-stop energy-efficiency retrofit model for Chicago’s two- to four-unit multifamily housing market and the expansion of the model to incorporate water efficiency and environmentally sustainable methods of storm-water management.
