Carnegie Hall’s mission is to present extraordinary music and musicians on the three stages of this legendary hall, to bring the transformative power of music to the widest possible audience, to provide visionary education programs, and to foster the future of music through the cultivation of new works, artists and audiences. This cross-team operating grant will deepen Carnegie Hall’s arts and justice work, particularly its partnership with the New York City Department of Probation to embed arts and culture into its Neighborhood Opportunity Network model, a citywide community justice reinvestment initiative designed to build opportunity for probation clients within the communities in which they live.
