The council serves as a catalyst for the arts by providing arts education, jobs, programs and events in and around Baton Rouge. Assisted by this two-year grant, the council is spearheading the development of arts-based planning strategies and the implementation of pilot projects designed to promote economic revitalization in the Old South Baton Rouge neighborhood.
