The nonpartisan, independent organization seeks to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions by improving the design, construction, renovation and operation of buildings and neighborhoods. This grant provides ongoing support for the Seattle 2030 District, a downtown area targeting dramatic improvements in the energy performance of new and existing buildings as well as transportation, and new funding for the development of a similar high-performance building district in downtown Cleveland.
