The nonpartisan, independent organization seeks to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions by changing the design, construction, renovation and operation of buildings, developments, neighborhoods and cities. This two-year grant for general operations support allows the organization to broaden its 2030 Challenge, which calls for decreasing the energy demand of new buildings and major renovations, with a long-term goal of reaching carbon neutrality by 2030.
