Webinar: Leveraging Health Institutions for Community Change

American Cities, Health

Presented by: The Kresge Foundation’s Health Program & American Cities Program

America’s cities are home to committed urban changemakers. Over the next decade, these changemakers must simultaneously address three essential challenges: racial repair and healing, climate adaptation and resilience, and economic mobility and abundance.

During this webinar, Kresge will partner with local Louisiana leaders to discuss how community institutions in New Orleans are working to transform health determinants in the region and what other cities can learn from their efforts. This virtual event is part of the Kresge Foundation’s 100th anniversary.

Throughout 2024, we have hosted a series of powerful convenings to celebrate our centennial, Kresge at 100: A Century of Impact, inviting urban development practitioners to exchange ideas, extend their network, and replenish themselves while collectively advancing the direction of the community development field. Together, we celebrate progress, discuss lessons learned, and prepare for the future.
