Any student who is a citizen or an eligible non-citizen can fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), regardless of their parents’ citizenship status. This comprehensive hub — a collaborative project of the Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration, Ed Trust, FWD.us, ImmSchools, Immigrants Rising, National Immigration Law Center, National College Attainment Network and California Student Aid Commission — offers a suite of resources, training materials and other tools to support students from mixed-status families in accessing the FAFSA.
