Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson (he/him) is a Health Program fellow at The Kresge Foundation. Michael supports the foundation’s community safety, health, climate change and equity work. He joined Kresge in August 2024.

Previously, Michael was a research assistant at Brown University, where he was involved in public health research and community outreach focused on health equity in the context of mass incarceration and mental health.

A native of Miami, Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in public health from Tennessee State University and a master’s degree in health services from Brown University.
