Sarah Moreau serves as internal communications officer at The Kresge Foundation. Sarah provides strategic employee communication guidance and supports editorial efforts at Kresge. She joined the foundation in 2024.

Previously, Sarah was the communications officer for the Oakland County Board of Commissioners, where she led a team of professionals in sharing information related to local elected officials and county government functions. She has also held various communication and media roles within the education, automotive and news sectors.

A native of metro Detroit, Sarah earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism, with minors in flute performance and women & gender studies from Oakland University. She also holds a master’s degree in strategic communication with a concentration in organizational communication for leadership from Michigan State University. In 2023, she was named as an Oakland County 40 Under 40 awardee, which highlights dynamic leaders under the age of 40 who work or live in Oakland County and are making a difference in the community.
