In this new case study learn more about the Advancing Fresno County Guaranteed Income Program which offers a monthly supplement of $500 for one year to 150 households with young children in southwest Fresno and Huron, California, addressing concentrated poverty in these areas.

Facilitated by the Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission, the program is being launched after a failed bid for state resources from a $35 million California program to fund guaranteed basic income pilot projects across the state despite Fresno being home to some of the highest concentrations of poverty in the country.
