In a politically polarized environment, effectively communicating about public health challenges and interventions is essential to public health practice and implementing public health policies that keep the community safe.

In “Public Health Messaging Across the Political Divide in the Time of COVID,” presenters discuss the Moral Foundations Theory of Dr. Jonathan Haidt and introduce the audience to strategies that can help them shape and frame their messaging so it resonates with people across the political spectrum.
