As a nationally recognized urban public research university, Wayne State's mission is to create knowledge and prepare a diverse body of students to excel in an increasingly complex and global society. This is a cross-team grant between the Detroit and Health Programs that will enable the Wayne State University Center for Urban Studies to develop a long-term sustainability plan for the Green and Healthy Homes Initiative Detroit-Wayne County and strengthen its connection to efforts by the City of Detroit to establish Detroit as a “lead zero” community.
