Sean O’Neill is an associate program officer with The Kresge Foundation’s American Cities Practice. He supports efforts to seed and scale innovative community development practices aimed at improving the lives of people with low incomes in America’s cities. He joined the foundation in 2017.
Previously, Sean participated in the Broad Residency in Urban Education and worked for three years at Denver Public Schools, where he led the talent management strategy team. He has also held positions with the Boston Consulting Group and the Brookings Institution’s Metropolitan Policy Program.
A native of Michigan, Sean earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality administration from Cornell University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Virginia.
