Rebecca Guerriero is the Climate Change and Urban Sustainability Fellow for The Kresge Foundation’s Environment Program. She supports the fields of urban climate adaptation and climate finance, as well as supporting the Environment team’s grantmaking initiatives at Kresge. She joined the foundation in 2018.
Previously she served as an adviser for data use in urban resilience in London, where she worked with the World Bank, UNISDR and other organizations on data accessibility, availability and use in disaster risk reduction and urban resilience. She has also held positions with 3Keel LLP, a sustainability consulting firm in Oxford, UK, and the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre, where she worked in urban disaster risk reduction.
A Michigan native, she earned a master’s degree in environmental change and management from the University of Oxford and a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Michigan.
