Mark Greer II is a program operations and information management associate at The Kresge Foundation. He supports the Social Investment Practice and Arts and Culture Program at Kresge. He joined the foundation in 2016.
Previously, Mark served as corporate responsibility associate at JP Morgan Chase where he was involved with strategic planning and grants management for the company’s five-year, $100 million commitment to the city of Detroit. He started his career in community organizing at Metropolitan Organizing Strategy Enabling Strength (MOSES) in Detroit and continued this work as deputy canvass director for the Michigan for All campaign, which aims to elect candidates who support working families in Michigan.
A native of Detroit, Mark earned dual bachelor’s degrees in political science and Afro-American and African Studies from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and is completing his Master of Business Administration degree at the Mike Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University in Detroit.
