Prachi B. Shende

Prachi Shende is a staff accountant in The Kresge Foundation’s Finance Department. She joined the foundation in 2023.

Previously, Prachi served as a controller for Copper Range Technologies, Inc. where she was involved in managing all aspects of accounting operations. Prachi also served as an adjunct assistant accounting professor at Walsh College and an adjunct accounting instructor at Oakland Community College.

Prachi is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a master’s degree in accounting from Walsh College. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from Pune University in Pune, India.

Prachi was awarded the Bureau of National Affairs Graduate Accounting Award from Walsh College in 2017. She is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
