Jade Smith is a special assistant to the president at The Kresge Foundation. She supports the Executive Office on strategic initiatives at Kresge and joined the foundation in 2016.
Previously, Jade held positions at fashion and tech startups where she worked on international expansion efforts. She lived for a period in southern Chile working for Endeavor, a non-profit organization that selects and supports high-impact entrepreneurs to expand their businesses. She started her career in finance at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where she worked in interest rates sales with institutional investors.
A native of Maryland, Jade earned a bachelor’s degree in Africana studies and human rights at Barnard College in New York City and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
